Featuring a low-density polyethylene film layer, 2080HG remains scratch-free during installation. The protective film liner is recyclable. This multi-layer cast adhesive-backed film is ideal for full-colour vehicle wraps, accents, or partial decoration wraps. Compared to older versions, 2080HG is more conformable and requires less heat during installation.
Offering a vibrant range of colours, this series stands out with 250% better-reflected image quality than typical premium cast vinyl wrap films, delivering a mirror-like appearance.
Warranty: Improved warranty of Canadian Zone 2, vertical up to 7 years and horizontal up to 2 years.
Tip: Applying heat after installation reduces internal stress in the vinyl film. Adjust the heat source so that the film temperature reaches 200 to 225°F (93 to 107°C). Move the heat source slowly across the stretched film surface. For best performance, press the stretched areas of the film with 3M Roller S while the vinyl is still hot. This helps fully wet out the adhesive onto the substrate and reduces the risk of lifting.
